The Refinery Collective is a social ecosystem that can only thrive when it is healthy. To protect this environment, every member of the Collective is required to behave according to our Standard of Kindness.
As a member of The Refinery Collective, I understand access to this ecosystem is a revocable privilege. By entering, I agree to participate with integrity, empathy, and respect, and I commit to upholding the following standards:
I Commit to Respect & Supporting Community Growth
I am here to connect, explore, and grow. I commit to bringing a positive, supportive energy to my peers and providing kind, constructive feedback. I will always honor the dignity of every member, and I will not make disparaging remarks in the Collective, in-person, or through any other form of communication.
I Commit to Digital Discretion
I will do my part to make this a place where we can be vulnerable and authentic. To protect this environment for everyone, I commit to absolute digital discretion. I will not screenshot, record, or share another member’s likeness, voice, or personal information outside of the Refinery’s private channels. I understand that protecting the privacy of The Collective is the only way to protect the privacy of my own journey.
I Commit to Intentionality & Grace
I recognize the humanity and agency of every member I interact with. If a connection isn't a fit, I will communicate with clarity and kindness rather than ghosting. I celebrate the boundaries of others: I will gracefully accept a "no" or a rejection without friction, follow-up, or forcing engagement, either online or in the real world.

I respect the careful curation of this community. I will enjoy the journey and let relationships grow at a healthy, natural pace without attempting to bypass the Refinery’s milestones by soliciting off-ecosystem meetings or exchanging contact information before reaching each designated connection milestone.

I understand that The Refinery Collective provides the frameworks, the community, and the scientific protocols to help me thrive. I take full personal responsibility for my physical and emotional safety, my online and offline conduct, and my romantic decisions.
